Left life on Saturday morning (3/5)at the age of 77, the Gregory Fanarashistorical form of Hercules and leader of the team that won the Greek Cup in 1976 against Olympiacos.
Born on January 30, 1948, Fanaras defended the “Old” outbreak from 1967 to 1979, recording 205 entries (most for the team’s goalkeeper) and being one of the most respected figures in the history of the club. His relationship with Hercules did not stop there, as he served the team from various posts for almost five decades.
