Classified, the Parque São Jorge team will face São Paulo in the semifinals. On Tuesday (23), the tricolor team advanced by beating São Bernardo, 4-1, at Morumbi.
The dispute of the next phase will also be in a single game and, as the tricolor team is ahead of the Corinthians in the general classification of the State, it will have the advantage of playing at home. The duel will be on Sunday (27), at 16 pm.
The other bracket will have the confrontation between Palmeiras and Red Bull Bragantino. On Wednesday (23), Abel Ferreira’s team eliminated Ituano, with a 2-0 victory.
In Itaquera, after dominating the match in the first half, Corinthians only managed to build a small advantage, with a goal from Gil, in the 43rd minute.
