The representation of Greek Table Tennis at the Doha World Championships ended on Tuesday with Constantine Angelakis’ honorary placement at 9-16 dual men. With his Slovakian partner, also a defender, Vang Yang, they “chased” with all their might to enter the quarter-finals, just this time they did not “catch” high standard of performance and were excluded 3-0 by Egyptian Mohammed Elbiali.
Angelakis and his teammate reiterated his good position after the 16th of the 2024 European Championship. In the World Table Tennis Championships Finals proceeded with two wins, fought for the huge step in the first eight and, of course, the three sets in three sets. Ace competed for the first time in the World Championship.
Angelakis made very remarkable appearances, certainly gained recognition of those who watched him and can now continue with renewal in his motives, as he had pointed out before leaving Athens.
