At first, Sawang’s family was worried that the trips required for the races could be very tiring. But 21 matches and 78 medals later, everything went well.

Now the 105 -year -old plans to get a few days permission after his success, but he will resume training next week. They are already preparing for the qualification in the 23rd ASIA Masters track and field championship, which will take place in India in November.

“I want everyone to start training so that they are strong and not get sick,” says Sawang. His advice to those who want to improve their fitness is: “If you go out for exercise with friends, you will have the opportunity to get to know them better – and it’s fun.”
