The experienced coach had taken over the team from the local Union and led it to the Elite League, even claiming the rise to the big category. In the last season, however, the GSE’s course was frustrating and relegated to the National League 1.
The announcement:

A great 10 -year trip has come to an end. A journey full of great moments, with many joys and fewer sorrows.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos took over the post of coach to GSE in a transitional, difficult time. In record time, GSE was found by EKASAMATH in the Elite League, with continuous rise. He starred in the Elite League for 5 years.
He has reached a team of a small city, to claim the rise to the big category of the Greek league.
Unfortunately the season that passed everything went wrong, from the beginning. There are the great moments we all lived together.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos will always belong to the GSE family.
