Alimos was officially elected the most … “bright” municipality of the country, according to the first nationwide evaluation of Local Government Organizations. He won the first place in the category of electricity and second place in total nationwide, shortly after Glyfada.
In addition to the electricity, other critical services of the Municipality were evaluated at the top positions, such as recycling, digital services, municipal transport, stray animal care, social structures and cleanliness.
“Their municipalities do their citizens”said Alimos Mayor Andreas Kondylis, adding:
“I owe a big” thank you “to all active citizens, who daily make their own care of Alimos.”
The mayor placed particular emphasis on the unmistakable nature of the evaluation, which was based on opinions of citizens, while giving credit to the distinction to deputy mayors, councilors, executives and employees of the municipality.
Alimos, internationally known for his magnificent beaches, has about 60,000 inhabitants. Andreas Kondylis is in his third term, re -elected 70% of the first Sunday.
“We take a deep breath of satisfaction,” The mayor stressed.
“Our trouble attributes and our effort is recognized nationally. We are booming and continuing the battle for an even better Alimos. Beautiful city, beautiful people – Thank you for the trust! “
