Vroutsis: “The chef must be given to Olympiacos – Greece has the best conditions for Final 4”

The public dialogue on the future of the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) and Athens’ nomination for the organization of the Euroleague Final Four in 2026 is in the spotlight, with the Deputy Minister of Sports, Giannis Broutsisto be clearly in favor of the chef’s concession to Olympiacos. In his statements to ARA SportsMr. Vroutsis underlined the need for equilibrium between the country’s two major clubsreferring to the corresponding concession of the OAKA to Panathinaikos.

At the same time, he expressed his optimism for Athens’ nomination as a city host of the Euroleague Final Four in 2026, stressing that Greece has the best infrastructure and conditions to host such an important event. For the chef and Olympiacos: “The chef must go to Olympiacos. There must be a process of discussion to make a compensation similar to that of the OAKA concession to Panathinaikos.
