As the international citizen herself announced, through a post on social media, the two sides decided to take separate roads, with Pleuritou leaving the “reds” after 14 years full of success.

“After a long journey, I feel it is time to close a very important capital for me. Olympiacos is an integral part of my life for 14 years, has given me the opportunity to live unique moments, to try my limits and to evolve both as an athlete and as a human being.
Since 2011, I had the honor of participating in a team that starred in Greece and Europe. We won 26 Trophies: 11 Greek Championships, 6 Greek Cups, 2 Super Cup Greece, 3 Champions League, 1 Len Trophy and 3 Super Cup Europe. But behind the titles, there are hours of hard work, dedication, intense emotions, and incredible moments that I will remember forever.
I am deeply grateful to all the people who stood by me all these years and believed if to me, and of course the club that gave me the opportunity to write this part of his story.
A circle may close but the memories and experience of this route will forever accompany me
