On Thursday, the program at the 32nd Balkan Youth Table Tennis Championship was divided into two sections, first the qualifying groups of the simple and later the double -mixed knockouts, which went up to the quarter -finals.
In simple, the Greek colors had 11 qualifications on the dashboard. In the teenagers, Yiannis Koutras went first from his group, George Gerakios, Yiannis Malamoudis and Kostas Milikoudis in second place.
Stella Tzaridou and Sotiria Nikolaidou were qualified in the youngsters.
In the children, Yiannis Kioseloglou, Konstantinos Alexoudis and Raphael Noulas arrived at the qualification.
In the girls, Christina Tzenidis and Anna-Fania Mitka took the qualification.
In the double mixed, the best place was followed by a negative moment. Alexoudis and Mitka managed to get into the octave, but then, in a carelessness with the program on the Greek side, they left the “Nikos Samaras” gym earlier and lost the evening quarter -finals and the opportunity to enter the medal.
In the simple one, the Balkan champions of the Group Genidis and Mitka scored two wins and won the top in their group without being led.
The first Balkans of the group children were enjoying three qualifications. Kioseloglou and Alexoudis first took place in their clubs and Noulas followed them on the “32” board in second place.
Also, with unbeaten first in three games, Kutra went on the main dashboard. In the knockouts, Gerakios, Malamoudis and Milikoudis passed 2 wins and 1 defeat in their clubs.

In the double mixed Under 15 the board was of the “32” and Alexoudis/Mitka entered the octave with two wins. However, they were not there in time there to fight for the aforementioned reason. They returned after alerts, but the projected ten -minute wait had elapsed. The Bosnians, as they were the right, refused to wait further and the match sheet was closed.
