OR ARIS PAE announces the acquisition of Finnish international Fredrik Jensen for the next three years.
Fredrik Jensen was born on September 9, 1997 in Poros, Finland.
He began his football career competing at the Academies of FC Futura, FC Honka and HJK Helsinki before leaving his country for the Netherlands and the FC Twente infrastructure departments in January 2014.
In the summer of 2016, he was promoted to the first FC Twente team and immediately played an active role by performing 60 appearances (9 goals, 6 assists) until January 2018.
Then, the German FC Augsburg gave 3m euros to make it his own with Jensen leaving the Netherlands to fight in the Bundesliga.
With Augsburg’s jersey he competed until the season he spent, recording a total of 111 appearances (9 goals, 12 assists) in his seven years in German football.
Jensen is international with National Finland from young age, up to the men’s team, with which he counts 36 appearances and 8 goals from March 2017 to the present.
From today, Fredrik Jensen belongs to the Mars family.

‘The challenge I was looking for’
Speaking to arisfc.com.gr immediately after signing his contract, Fredrik Jensen said:
“I am excited to have signed my new contract with Mars. Mars is the challenge I was looking for at the moment of my career and I am really looking forward to starting training with my new team.
I have a great appetite and I feel I made the best choice. I talked to Giannoulis who were teammates last year at Augsburg and told me a lot of good things about my new team.
I felt it from the first moment Mars showed interest to me that it was what I wanted. I am in one phase of my career that I will give my best and I believe that with Mars we will do good things.
The first goal ahead of us is Europe. We want to get to the Conference League and we will do everything to do it.
In Greece, the goal is to go as high as possible in the league and in the cup to the end. “
