Mars: New coach and officially Karaicic

Bogdan Karaicic officially took over Mars.

Bogdan Karaicic is born in Serbia on July 31, 1984. He began his coaching career at the age of just 20, working in Hungary, with young athletes and winning several trophies. In 2009 he moved to Denmark and took over the Horssholm 79ers infrastructure departments. In 2010 he became assistant coach in the men’s team and in 2011 took over as a first coach, staying in the Danish team until 2013.

He then stayed in Denmark, on behalf of Fog N? Stved, whose Had coach was from 2013 to 2016.

In 2017 he made the first big step in his career, taking on the debts of assistant coachs at Lokomotiv Kuban. In 2019 he executed the first coach for five matches after the removal of Luca Banchi. The Russian team remained until 2020.

In the summer of 2020, he joined the Red Star coaching staff, from which he retired in December of the same year, after a cooperation with Sasa Obdovic. In May 2021, he returned to his hometown as a KK Mega Basket as a strand coach, with which he reached the Serbian league finals against the Red Star.

In the summer of 2021, Zeliko Obdovic chose him as a partner on the bench of Partizan, where he remained until this summer. Indeed, in the recent Serbian Championship finals against Spartak Subotica, Bogdan Karaicic executed a first coach, leading his team to the title 2-0.

At the national level, the new Mars coach worked in all the “small” Danish national teams, while in 2020 he was a member of the National Serbian Stap. This year, he took over as a first coach at the National Armenia.
