Karditsa: announced Damien Jefferson

Significant transcript for Heart. The Thessalian team announced the acquisition of Damen Jefferson. The 27 -year -old American guard/forward (1.96m) was a MVP of the Belgian championship and the final in 2024 with the Ostenda jersey, while last year he played in Karsiyaka and Hemnic.

AS Karditsa Japanese announces the addition of Damien Jefferson to the roster of the men’s team.

Jefferson is the fifth foreign athlete in our team’s roster and with his dynamic game and European experience, he adds talent, athleticism and personality ahead of the new season.

The 28-year-old (born on October 3, 1997 in Istiana, Indiana), is 1.96 m high and competes as a guard-forward. He started basketball in his hometown, and joined 2016 at the University of New Mexico in NCAA. He then transferred to the renowned Creiton, in which he competed for three seasons, from 2018 to 2021. In his last year, Creiton reached the 16th of the championship, with he scored 11.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

His professional career began in 2021 at the G-League where he competed for two seasons, in Memphis and Utah in 78 matches with average 10.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

In the summer of 2023, he made a transatlantic trip and joined the Belgian Belgian Championship (a forthcoming ASK opponent in the Basketball Champions League) with which he won the championship and the Super Cup, while he was named MVP of the league and the finals. At BCL he arrived with Ostend until the 24th of the event. In the domestic obligations he had 42 races on average. 16.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists, while in the BCL in 9 matches he had an average. 14.7 Points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals.

In the 2024-25 season, he moved to Turkey for Karsiyaka, with which he had 10.0 points in the league, 3.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, while in the BCL he scored 8.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists. The financial problems of the Turkish team led him to forced to retire at the end of December 2024, and in March he returned to Europe for Hebnic, having 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in the A1 German Championship.
