With six athletes the table tennis at the Dresden World Transplant Championships

The World Championships that started on Sunday in Dresden sent a double message: First of all, the dissemination of organ donation and its support and then that life continues normally and after transplantation and for its quality athletic athletics.

The World Championship racing schedule starts Monday and will run until the 24th of the month. It includes a total of 17 sports and, of course, the table tennis will be among them.

Greece will be represented by six athletes and is aiming for great awards this year. On Sunday there are training in various sports, table tennis will be on Monday and its races begin on Tuesday, where the simple and double will be held in various age categories.

The Athletic Federation of Kidney and Transplants has informed the Greek mission and, according to its list, we alphabetically refer to table tennis athletes, most of whom will take part in other sports.

Only in the category of 30-49 years will there be no Greek representation. The technical guidance will be in yet another leading organization of transplanted and kidney patients, the federal coach of AONM, Efthimi American, who is an old champion of Greece and international athlete in table tennis.

The mission was also Kostas Kali KO, and, in addition to the table tennis, he would be involved in bowling and track and field, but an unexpected problem left him on a trip.

At Olympic sport, the country’s history in this institution includes many medals (and gold between them) and the same are the expectations this year.

In the World Transplant Games 2025 they will compete more than 2,200 athletes from 51 countries. Greece lists 25 athletes and athletes and will also take part in bowling, football, swimming, track and pomegranate.

As President of AONM And Team Manager in Dresden is the head of the mission by Xenia Stathis. Also a man of table tennis, as, among other things, he has served as Secretary General and Member of the EFOEA administration, while being a former athlete.

Still, the mission has four federal coaches and one doctor.

At the opening ceremony, the Greek team enters, as is customary, first in the Stadium for the Parade of States. There will still be actions, such as a charity race and a festive program to honor donors who are alive and have allowed their recipients to continue their lives as well.
