The new World Cup mascot was announced this Friday (1st). It is the La’eeb – who is not a ghost –, a scarf of Arab tradition that the men of Qatar wear on their heads. The word means “very good player” or, simply, ace, in Arabic.
But what caught the attention of Brazilian netizens was the situation of the mascot of the 2014 World Cup, the friendly armadillo Fuleco, which appears in the ad video.

It’s not easy being Brazilian.
Justice for Fuleco!
A theory emerges.
“Lady, I’m a college student.”
It was good to see you!
