The participation of the EFOEA was a great success. In Thessaloniki’s “Hobby Festival”

According to various sources, the entertainment festival, which took place September 6-14, was welcomed by more than 100,000 visitors and EFOEA. With her own booth there she was very pleased with the enormous attendance of the public. On the one hand, it gave the world the opportunity to relax with the racket, on the other hand it left with daily assistance and a correct picture of the ping pong racing form, double its dissemination.

The event organized Skywalker.gr – Work in Greece, in collaboration with HELEXPO TIF, and included experiences, games, inspiration and fun. The federation had also taken part in the Hobby Festival last year, but this year the appeal was much greater and it was filled with optimism that the participation would go better every time and better.

Three regular tables and a mini were installed, which also had significant traffic. In general, the table tennis was central, it was a passage for all the events, and this measured to “catch” the eyes of all visitors. The kiosk was organized by EFOEA’s responsible marketing, Nikos Grammenos. The site was visited by the member of the Board of Directors of the Federation and Chairman of the Northern Greece Local Committee, Dimitris Kyradenidis, and the Board Member, Christos Tassios.

Athletes Stella Tzaridou, Kyriakos Karemfylidis, Theodora Symeonidou, present and the administrative officer of the Federation in Thessaloniki, Maria Tsipou, were basically on the booth. Brochures were distributed with all the clubs operating in Greece, gifts were given to the kids (about 100 balls, about 200 keychains with recycled balls), hopping and videos were organized and videos were shown.

Flowers, olive trees and other pots from the “Pappas Nursery” were installed on the site, there were samples of cup and medal from recycled balls through the “Mediterra Institute”, while the “Albus Bakery” ovens gave a 10% decrease around the world.

Under the program, two clubs each day had representatives at the celebration. They gave information, played with visitors, and showed bumps of the sport. The tables were constantly crowded, young and old -fashioned with ping pong, tested their abilities with rackets and people of other actions at the event. For example, they played … stilts, members of dance groups, wearing their uniforms, organ players, all before going to their own events. Among international athletes from other sports was visited by the kiosk and the instrumental champion Stefanos Tsolakidis, son of the President of the EGO and former internationally distinguished trainer, Vasilis.

In addition, Nikos Grammenos contacted a non -profit company in Thessaloniki, which provides psychological support to people and discussed the possibility of being placed on the table tennis table.

Federation’s marketing managerly thanked the volunteers who helped daily for the event, especially Kyriakos Karemflyflidis, the sponsors, as well as skywalker.gr, “who was always there in whatever we asked for.”
