Calabria: “We dominated throughout the race, but in the end the fatigue came out”

by

Panathinaikos stayed away from the win for yet another match, as in the 90 ‘+2’ of the derby saw Olympiacos equalize with El Kabi in the final 1-1.

At the end of the match, Davide Kalambria, analyzed the elements that deprived the Greens of the victory, claiming that his team was superior to the longer match, but the fatigue did not allow it to maintain the same tension.

In detail:

“I always like to be positive and I will say that today we started the championship and I say this because in the two previous games Panathinaikos did not stand up to the height of the team. We had the initiative of movements, though it was tired but we also saw that as the team is built there are players who still need some adjustment time. But we wanted the victory, we could win, we deserved it, of course the result came in a draw because the opponent was able to score a goal in the final minutes.

I keep the positives, today we played well and if we continue to play the same way we will make a very good league. We dominated throughout the race, at least anyway until the 70’s where we did not let the opponent do great things, we were the rulers until the end of fatigue, our rhythm fell, so Olympiacos was given the opportunity to equalize.

What we need to do is continue to play just as well until the 90’s and if we manage to have the same performance, the same good game until the 90’s then we will have a big league. “
