“Bronze” Junis in the discus, a European record of Skourtis in the 400m qualifier. T38

THE Constantine Tzounis won the bronze medal in her race F56 discus at the World Championship. The Greek album and “bronze” in the Paralympic Games of Paris had a 39.97 in his 6th attempt, which gave him a place on the podium. The gold medal was won by Brazilian Claudine Batista with 45.67, while the silver medal was hung on the chest by Indian yogens of Katouniya with 42.49. In the same race the Lazaros Stefanidis ranked in eighth position.

In his statements after winning the bronze medal, Constantine Tzounis said: “I am very happy that in such a difficult year, especially in the last two months with the arrival of my second child that I managed to fight and win the bronze medal despite the tiredness and difficult training conditions! I want to dedicate this medal to my own champion, to my wife Stella, who did everything to be in another race ready that with the insomnia and the difficult daily life of the baby not to hurt her. My strength is my family! This medal is yours!

In the final of their 400m. T38of the world-class championship held in New Delhi was qualified by Alexander Skourtisnoting European record with a time of 49 ” 97. The Greek athlete lived shocking moments and already showed the qualifying with his enormous potential in view of tomorrow’s (1/10) final and now aims to win the gold medal.
