Hesson: “To help Mykonos build something special”

THE Miles talked about his decision to continue his career at Mykonos Betssonexplaining how he wants to pay back the confidence the team shows him.

At the same time, he referred to the ideal scenario for the club of Cyclades In view of the historic season in the big Greek basketball category.

In detail:

Mykonos, for most, is synonymous with holidays. You chose it to play basketball, to build something here. How much does this element of your decision excite you?

“Playing in Greece has always been something I wanted in my career. Getting to a rising team and helping to build something special together is the best possible scenario for me. A treaty where we all have to win. ”



What does it really mean for you to contribute to a group? Does it have to do with the numbers? With the leadership? Or how do you present every day in training?



“It’s what the team needs from me. I am a complex player, so whatever I am asked, I will do it as best I can. ”



How do you personally approach this next step in your career? Is it just for basketball or are there any other elements that make it separate?



“For me it was always basketball. The greater, the more valuable the years become in the space and the less I consider data. ”



What do you think should be the realistic goals of Mykonos Betsson this year? And what are your personal goals for the season?



“I get into every season with the mentality that I want to win every game, whatever the opponent. As we stay focused and give our best, we can be proud of whatever happens. My personal goals are as always to do my best for the team. ”



Would you say that your signature is more a vote of confidence in the Mykonos project or even a personal investment to leave your imprint on something new?



“I am happy to have them in mind when the opportunity arose. I hope to pay back their trust by playing at the highest level I can. ”



You come to Mykonos Betsson as the top scorer of all time in the Eurobasket with the National Men in Great Britain. What does this personally mean to you? And what is your next big goal?



“It’s a huge achievement for me, based on where I started and what was my journey to basketball. It was never my goal to break this record. It is the result of dedication and commitment to the program. Whatever comes afterwards is a blessing. ”

If anyone was asking you to describe your game in a word or skill, what would you say? What is it that still makes you stand out as a player?



“I’m a competitor. It also has to do with my multidimensional presence: I can play and mark in many places and take advantage of mismatches in the attack. ”
