Alexia Kammenou and Eftychia Karagianni are the two new federal coaches of the National Women’s Polo, as decided and announced on Tuesday by the Board of Directors of KOE. The two Greek coaches successfully led the National Young Women and Juniors teams this year to second place at the Netanya World Championship and the Sibenik European Championship respectively.

Kammenou, as an athlete, won four championships with Vouliagmeni (1991, 1993, 1994, 1997), while she also played for PAOK (2004, 2005), scoring a total of 230 goals from 1988 to 2005.
He made his national team debut on March 22, 1989 and played 182 times, scoring 84 goals. He participated in one world championship (1998), six European (1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999) and two World Cups (1997, 1999).
She was the coach of NOB for ten seasons, with which she won the 2007 championship and the 2019 Cup, while in Europe she celebrated two Champions Cups (2009, 2010) and two Super Cups in the same years. For two more seasons she was the coach of Glyfada (2013-2015).
Karagianni played for Olympiakos, ANO Glyfada, Ethnikos Piraeus and Nireas Halandriou, winning three championships, two with Olympiakos (1995, 1998) and one with ANOG (2004). She scored a total of 545 goals from 1992 to 2006 and with her performance she is among the top ten scorers.
He made his national team debut on July 11, 1992, had 207 appearances and scored a total of 183 goals. With the representative team he won the silver medal in 2004 at the Athens Olympic Games and the gold medal in the World League in 2005 in Kirisi. He also participated in two World Cups (1998, 2005), four European Championships (1993, 1995, 1997, 1999), two World Cups (1997, 1999) and another World League (2004).
As the coach of Nireas Halandriou, she was a finalist of the Greek Cup in 2020.
