In particular, the “red and white” talk about inaccuracies and myths that aim to cause the team’s world to splitwhile, they emphasize with harsh language how “some people dream of ‘civil wars'”.
Olympiakos’ announcement in detail:
“On the occasion of a promotional activity of K.A.E. Olympiacos, which concerns the next six consecutive matches of our team in the S.E.F., was published, today (!), a despicable article, full of inaccuracies and myths.
This publication, in a vulgar manner, attempts to create false impressions of allegedly mocking the football department, with the obvious purpose of causing division in the ranks of the Olympiacos world.
It is truly despicable to see a “red and white” sports newspaper use the advertisement in question as a pretext to then attack our own team with blanket lies.
This slanderous publication has nothing to do with reality and is a figment of the morbid imagination of the anonymous editor.
Some may dream of “civil wars”, just to have a reason to exist. We tell them, however, that K.A.E. Olympiacos, through its Presidents, George and Panagiotis Angelopoulos, continuously serves the IDEA of the largest multi-sport club in the world and will not allow anyone to poison our fans with divisive practices.”
