Bartzokas: “We made big tactical defensive mistakes – Several players played below their level”

That’s why we have to forget about tonight and prepare ourselves to play a better match on Friday.”

On whether he “corrupted” the minds of his players: “We made big tactical defensive mistakes. I can’t explain it. While we played defense with changes we didn’t change, Monaco had a 5 second throw-in, we fouled and gave them shots. We made some really bad decisions at important points in the game that could have turned the momentum around. Several of our players played below their level. But that’s how it is in the Euroleague. If you’re not focused, calm, if you don’t play as a team, you can’t win.”
