The match between Aris and AEK for the Women’s Volley League will not take place.

“With today’s decision and in an extraordinary meeting, the Board of Directors of EOPE, ratified the decision of the Central Championship Committee, of November 19, 2021 regarding the fate of the ARIS-AEK match for the Women’s Volley League, which was scheduled for Saturday 20 / 11/2021.
Specifically, it was decided that the match AS ARIS-AEK ATHENS will not be held and AEK ATHENS loses the match with 0-3 sets and 00-75 points (loss of a match which is not counted in the provisions of article 21 of the General Regulations for the Organization of Championships – ΓΚΟΔΠ).
The Commission took into account:
1) The weekly table of summary results covid-19 of the women’s team of AEK ATHENS for the period 14-20 / 11/2021 that was sent today (19/11/2021), from which it appears that there are 5 positive cases of covid-19 .
2. The par. 15.4.5. of No. 4859 / 17.11.2021, approved by the GGA, Health Competitive Volleyball Protocol stating that: pre-race checks, then the next race is not held. ”
3. Article 10 of the Special Announcement of the championship, as supplemented by the prot. 4146 / 8.10.2021 Supplementary Special Announcement
And after finding out that:
the women’s team of AEK ATHENS according to par. 15.4.5. of the No. 4859 / 17.11.2021 Volleyball Competitive Protocol of Volleyball, can not compete in the match of the 9th day of the Women’s Volley League championship AS ARIS-AEK ATHENS on 20/11/2021 decided unanimously that:
according to article 10 of the Special Announcement of the championship, as it was supplemented with no. prot. 4146 / 8.10.2021 Additional Special Announcement, the match AS ARIS-AEK ATHENS will not be held and AEK ATHENS loses the match with 0-3 sets and 00-75 points (match loss which does not count towards what is defined in the article 21 of the GOPP) “
