Elon Musk’s final order that all Tesla employees must stop working remotely. If not, “I guess he quit” didn’t work out well in Germany.

The largest union in the country disagrees with the richest men in the world.

The Tesla CEO is involved in discussing future jobs with employees of the electric vehicle maker and must return to the office or leave the company for at least 40 hours a week.

The IG Metall union in Berlin-Brandenburg-Saxony, where the Tesla factory is located, said it would support all employees who oppose the final mask notice.

Tesla employs approximately 4,000 people in Germany and plans to increase its workforce to 12,000.

“Anyone who opposes and wants to oppose such a one-sided demand has the right to form a union in Germany in accordance with the law,” said the district leader of IG Metall in Berlin-Brandenburg-Saxony, Birgit Parliament said.

In February, 19 people were singled out at the Tesla plant in Grunhead, Germany, to distinguish them from other cars driven by the United States and other non-union automakers that Mask violently resisted.

Some workers are part of IG Metall and represent workers in automobile companies and other industrial sectors.

Currently, Germany does not have a law regulating the right to work from home, but the Ministry of Labor is working on policies to increase flexibility for workers.

Many large employers, including automakers, have already adopted a hybrid work model for the coronavirus pandemic, forcing companies to send staff from home to work.

Luxury automakers BMW and Mercedes-Benz reiterated this view when asked about the mask ultimatum.

A Mercedes-Benz spokesperson said: “Hybrid work is a model for future work…it can be done in many ways, from full presence to mostly remote work.”

Mask, who has completely switched the traditional auto sector to electric and become the world’s richest person in the process, has dealt harshly with companies that don’t require employees to return to the office full time.

Of course, some companies don’t want this, but when was the last time you launched a great new product? “It’s been a while,” Musk wrote in an email.

At Tesla, everyone must spend at least 40 hours a week in the office. Also, the office should be where the real colleagues are, not the pseudo-remote office. If you don’t show up, we consider you quit.

The older you are, the more prominent your presence will be. So I lived in a lot of factories, so the people on the line worked with them. If he hadn’t done this, Tesla would have gone bankrupt long ago.

Sure, some companies don’t want this, but when was the last time you shipped a great new product? It’s been a while.

Tesla creates and manufactures the most exciting and important products of any company on the planet. This does not happen when you call on the phone.

Thank you,
