CCXP Worlds 2021 announced this Thursday (25), that the movie “Matrix Resurrections” will be at the event, with the participation of actor Keanu Reeves, the “chosen” Neo. The film is one of the most awaited by fans of action and fiction .
The Warner Bros panel is the last on the second day of the event, chosen to close the festival. “Matrix Resurrections” opens in theaters on December 22, and in addition to Reeves, Jonathan Groff, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick and Eréndira Ibarra will be present in the conversation.
The film is the fourth in the “The Matrix” franchise (1999), and also features actors Carrie-Anne Moss, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt and Brian J. Smith.
So far, Warner has not revealed the full schedule of the panel, but CCXP says the schedule will involve audience interaction. In the year 2020, the studio delivered a six-hour panel and featured the cast of “The Suicide Squad”, as well as Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins representing “Wonder Woman 1984”.
In addition, recently streaming platforms HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video confirmed their presence at the event that takes place on December 4th and 5th. Prime Video will have exclusive panels on the Thunder Arena stage.
Fans can look forward to exclusive news, previously unreleased snippets and behind-the-scenes content from Amazon original productions including “The Boys”, “The Wheel of Time”, “Reacher” and “Star Trek: Picard”.
HBO Max has yet to reveal its full lineup, but promises big news for fans of the DC universes, “Game of Thrones” and the “Harry Potter” franchise, as well as new content both locally and internationally.
The event also announced that Netflix has confirmed its presence for the edition. Although the streaming service has not revealed the schedule, CCXP Worlds 21 has reserved a space on the Thunder stage during Saturday, December 4th.
Ticket sales for the event are now available. Those who purchase the 2022 edition package will receive a Digital Experience credential for the edition that takes place at the end of this year. CCXP 2022 should take place in person, at São Paulo Expo, also in December.
The 2022 in-person edition ticket categories are daily entry packages that include the four days, Epic Experience and Full Experience. In addition, there will also be Unlock CCXP, for professionals who work with entertainment, which will give access to lectures and meetings with names in the market.
