The SpaceX Starship spacecraft receives an environmental permit to send people to Mars, but with more than 75 conditions.

On Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved the final environmental assessment of the Missile Company’s proposed Super Heavy Missile Program in Bokatika, Texas.

The FAA has released an assessment concluding that SpaceX’s orbital launch program will have no “significant impact” on coastal areas.

However, it has set out more than 75 requirements that the company must meet to reduce the impact on nearby areas when the spacecraft goes into operation.

“We are one step closer to the first orbital flight test of a starship,” SpaceX wrote on Twitter shortly after the decision.

Still, completing an environmental review does not guarantee a SpaceX vehicle operator license. However, you must meet the FAA’s safety, risk, and financial responsibility requirements.

The FAA said this requirement would increase advance launch notification to reduce road closures during launch operations.

Running is not allowed on 18 holidays and weekends less than 5 times a year. The FAA also continuously monitors vegetation and wildlife, proactively notifies nearby communities of potential engine and blast noise during the blast, and adjusts complex startup lighting to reduce impact on wildlife.

In February, SpaceX co-founder Elon Musk said he was “very confident” his new spacecraft would be on the way this year.

This was a time when the FAA was still checking to see if SpaceX’s activities had a significant environmental impact on the area and surrounding wildlife reserves before being licensed.

However, the billionaires said they would be prepared for a “worst case scenario” if SpaceX does not obtain the required environmental permits.

Musk said he would only move the entire Starship program to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. SpaceX has already received the required environmental clearance.

SpaceX is still targeting a 2023 launch, as such a move will still lead to a six to eight month setback. This is called the world’s first private lunar mission, and Japanese businessman Yusaku Maezawa and 12 Starships artists are looking around. Go back to the moon and the earth.
