The Microsoft Outlook email service encountered a service issue that many users were unable to access.

People may experience “mailbox may not be accessible via connection” and “delay in sending, receiving, or accessing email messages”.

This problem occurs in the days when many people work from home due to train or subway strikes.

“Is your email also on strike?” Suggested by one of our Twitter users.

Another addition: “That shouldn’t happen. Our entire company is split without email and runs for hours. Where’s the backup plan?”

Microsoft has confirmed the issue and said it is working on a fix.

Currently, other services are not affected by the bug.

“We continue to analyze service monitoring telemetry to identify next troubleshooting steps to reduce impact,” Microsoft said in a statement posted on its website.

The company added that this issue is unique to some European customers.

Today, around 1:20 p.m., Microsoft confirmed that some traffic had changed.

As a result, “access to the service has improved,” the company said.

According to website monitoring service DownDetector, affected users will see a message informing them that they were unable to connect to the server.

Others say they find it difficult to connect to the service from different devices.

The problem started today at 9 am.

Since then, many businesses and businesses have relied on social media to apologize for not responding to emails and encourage people to contact them through various means.

Earlier today, hundreds of websites crashed after a huge mess with content distributor Cloudflare.

People who visited websites like Discord, Shopify, Peloton, JustEat encountered “500 InternalServerError” message.

Cloudflare says the issue has since been resolved.
