The Hellenic Basketball Federation is entering the digital age

Memorandum of Cooperation with which the Hellenic Basketball Federation digital age was signed on Thursday by the Minister of State and Digital Government, Kyriako Pierrakakithe Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Theodore Frankincensethe Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteri Avgenakithe president of the Central Union of Greek Municipalities (KEDE), Dimitris Papastergiou and the host president of the Hellenic Basketball Federation, Vangelis Liolios.

As agreed, the Ministry of Digital Governance undertakes the digitization of all its processes EEC, making the daily life of clubs, athletes and all those actively involved in the sport easier. The Memorandum provides for the installation of software, network and cameras in all indoor gyms of the country, in order to cover with live streaming all the basketball matches of the National Championships. In addition, an electronic register of basketball teams is being created for the first time.

This is a huge project which from the beginning was warmly supported by the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Government, had the assistance of the Deputy Minister of Sports, was enthusiastically accepted by the president of KEDE and thus can be implemented by opening new horizons in many areas.

Also, the Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakistoday that is celebrated World Olympic Daysymbolically announced the Digital Card of Athlete / Athlete that will be implemented for all athletes in the country in the coming weeks.
