Elon Musk claims that Tesla will introduce humanoid robots to the world within three months.

Musk called the bot known as Optimus, Tesla’s most important product.

Now he says the prototype is ready for demo at Tesla’s “AI Day” on September 20.

In a live video link to the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha, Musk told journalist John Mikkeltwight: “I hope there’s an interesting prototype to show people.”

“Tesla has a very talented team and is working closely to prepare a humanoid robot prototype by the end of September,” Musk added.

“And I think we’re following through on that point.”

The sleek 60kg robot will finally be tasked with supporting electric vehicle production at the Tesla factory.

The 5-foot-8 robot is made of “lightweight material” and can be “seen” using Tesla’s autopilot camera, which senses the environment.

Mask previously confirmed that Optimus runs on Tesla’s fully self-driving computer (FSD).

“It means being friendly,” Musk said when he announced it in August 2021, “and navigating the world made for humans.”

Interestingly, the news broke the same week when Musk confirmed that Tesla would release natural and blood persons from working at the company.

Although Tesla employs less than 100,000, Musk said the cut would be reduced by about 3.5% because paid workers make up about a third of the workforce.

Electric car companies are now increasing the number of employees per hour. This is about two-thirds of the workforce.

Joe Biden said he felt a US recession was inevitable, even as the world’s largest economy struggled to cope with 40-year highs in gasoline prices and inflation, mirroring sentiments of the American president.

Since shocking people need things like wages and leisure, it’s no wonder Mask wants to put a robot in the factory.

There is no mention of when the fully featured Optimus robot will be available, but it will take some time.

Some of the latest generation humanoid robots, like the Atlas robot built by Boston Dynamics, have been researched, designed and built for years.
