Video conferencing platform Zoom has released a major update that provides chat messaging and translation tools as part of a new set of annual subscription packages.

It provides 6 steps as part of Zoom One. This includes basic free tiers that include access to a 40-minute meeting of up to 100 people, Zoom chat service, transcription, and Zoom whiteboard collaboration tools.

It also adds value to your costs and opportunities, including the platform’s two best new translation tools, Zoom One Business Plus and Zoom One Enterprise Plus.

This allows users to see the speaker’s captions translated into the language of their choice when they meet with Zoom.

The new tools will be released in English and 10 other languages, including Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.

According to the company, automatic captioning of meetings has also been improved so that users can view the captions of meeting speakers in real time and make them available in a variety of languages.

Greg Toom, president of Zoom, said:

As the Zoom platform evolved from a conferencing application to a full communications platform, it became clear that the introduction of new packages like ZoomOne would be the next step in the company’s evolution.

“By consolidating chat, phone, conference, whiteboard and more into one service, we are able to provide a simple management solution to help our customers focus on their most important business issues.”

Zoom’s platform became famous when the number of users increased exponentially, a pandemic and millions of people went to work, educate and communicate from home using Zoom Video Conference.
