Instabilities in the operation of Instagram caused spikes in complaints from users on the morning of this Wednesday (29) and the night before on the specialized website Downdetector, which compiles alerts of failures in pages and applications.
Users reported problems accessing the feed, publishing stories and failures to log in to the social network. The same peaks were also recorded in Argentina, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The number of complaints per hour has been above average since Tuesday night (28), remaining low only during the early hours of Wednesday.
“Instagram is down (or very slow) as of 10:45 am today (29/06/2022). Both for mobile and PC access,” wrote one user in the Downdetector comment box.
According to demonstrations on Twitter, it is also difficult to send private messages and to upload other people’s stories.
Wanted, Instagram did not comment on the instability of the service until 2 pm this Wednesday.
