The purpose of the memorandum is to provide the framework for cooperation between the University and the company in the field of education. According to a related announcement, the signing of the memorandum of cooperation provides the basis and framework for future projects with multiple benefits for both parties, such as the strengthening of extroversion and the direct connection of one of the country’s leading universities with industry and the market work. THE Andreas Budouvis, rector of NTUA stated: “A cooperation framework between NTUA and Huawei is being formed that will include and systematize the existing joint actions in the field of education but will also promote the design of new, innovative and more far-reaching ones. The breadth of Huawei’s technological activity lends itself to the participation of students, undergraduates and postgraduates, from all NTUA Faculties, with the possibility of support through scholarships, in a variety of educational activities, such as internships, on-site visits to industrial units and research and development centers and state-of-the-art orienteering competitions. In addition to these, the agreement creates prospects for cooperation between NTUA and Huawei in fields of research and innovation, including industrial PhDs”.
