iPhone 14 reveals: SOS locator and new improvements

Apple paid a lot of attention to security technologies for its new model, whose price will start from 799 dollars

Apple Inc yesterday refrained from raising prices for the devices iPhone best sellers during the biggest product launch of the year, with more emphasis on safety upgrades and less attention to new technical features, with the exception of a new adventure watch.

The company paid a lot of attention to safety technologies, such as the technological ability to detect an accident involving vehicles, but also the ability to make a phone call from mountainous areas to activate rescue operations, in order to make its devices more technologically attractive.

Apple defines its brand identity as the company that allows users to seek excitement and adventure with a safety net.

Those intangibles “are the things that make you want the products not just for yourself, but for the people you love,” said Ben Bajarin, head of consumer technologies at Creative Strategies. “Basically, the heavy emphasis on security as a service is actually interesting as a value proposition,” for buying a smart phone device, he added.

The line of iPhone devices that accounts for 50% of Apple’s sales incorporates minor changes to cameras and battery life, although only the iPhone Pro line received an upgrade with an all-new processor chip.

The prices of the technologically advanced iPhone 14 handsets are the same as the prices of the previous year’s iPhone 13 models. However, Apple ditched its cheapest option, the iPhone Mini, which means its cheapest model costs $100 more today than it did last year.

The price of the iPhone 14 will start at $799, while the iPhone 14 Plus will sell for $899 and will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, September 9.

The iPhone Pro will cost $999 and the iPhone Pro Max $1,099 and will be available from September 16.

“They decided to maintain the same price level despite the pressure from inflation,” said Dee. Tom Forte analyst A. Davidson.

Nintendo and T-Mobile have also announced that they will not increase the prices of their products.

Apple has announced that its satellite SOS broadcast tech feature will go live for search and rescue teams in emergency situations. It also announced that users will be able to use the FindMy app to report their location via satellite when no other type of connection is available.

This service will be available free of charge with the iPhone 14 for a period of two years. Apple has not announced what will apply after this period.
