Robots are entering Greek schools in order to enrich teaching methods.

According to an announcement by Mobile Technology, Pierce – American College of Greece acquired a humanoid robot from Mobile Technology, with the aim of further upgrading the educational content and teaching methods it provides to its students. More specifically, it was reinforced with the NAO and Pepper robots, which will soon be available to High School and Lyceum students, within the lessons of the Informatics laboratory.

The robots have been integrated into the school curriculum, as they operate with an advanced and at the same time useful platform that allows students to develop their skills in robotics and programming, through experiential and creative learning. As mentioned, the Pepper robot had the opportunity to be introduced to the teaching staff and employees of the American College of Greece in the context of the event that takes place annually for the start of the new school year. Through the application developed by Mobile Technology, the robot presented some of its many possibilities and talked to the President of the American College of Greece, Dr. David G. Horner.

The Pepper & NAO robots that Mobile Technology promotes in the Greek market are already widely used by more than 17,000 schools and educational institutions worldwide. It is emphasized that Mobile Technology from 2018 has the popular interactive robots of SoftBank Robotics, as the Preferred Solution Partner of the house in Greece and, in addition, develops the required applications for their utilization.
