Twitter is gradually making the edit button for tweets available to paid subscribers of the service in the United States, the social network announced on Thursday (6).
The company has already launched the long-awaited tool in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. For years, the company’s users have demanded a feature that allows their tweets to be edited after they are published.
Subscribers who pay $4.99 a month for “Twitter Blue” will be able to edit their tweets “a few times” within 30 minutes of publication, the company said in September.
Edited tweets will be tagged and display the time they were last edited. Users will be able to click on the indication of an edited tweet to see the history and previous versions of the post.
