The temperature in the manned capsule Soyuz MS-22which experienced decompression of the external thermal control system, is down, the Roscosmos press service told reporters on Sunday.
“The temperature in the manned Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft is decreasing due to the actions of the specialists of the Moscow Mission Control Center, it remains within the specified limits,” assures Roscosmos, however.
As the state space agency explained, according to the plan, the problem will be checked with the cameras of the SSRMS (Space Station Remote Manipulator System) arm to address the problem. “The results will be transmitted to Earth on Monday morning,” the press service added.

The Russian state agency said the ISS astronauts took Sunday off, and planned to watch Qatar’s World Cup final between France and Argentina.
On Thursday, the outer lining of the instrument and equipment compartment of the Soyuz MS-22 capsule docked to the International Space Station (ISS) was damaged, canceling the planned space walk.
On Saturday, Roscosmos announced that depressurization in the cooler of the spacecraft’s external thermal control system. On December 17, the temperature in the spacecraft was maintained at 28 to 30 degrees.
Sergei Krikalev, a veteran cosmonaut and director of manned spaceflight programs at Roscosmos, estimated that the coolant leak from the Soyuz MS-22 capsule could have been caused by a meteorite hitting one of its refrigerators. Krikalev said in a statement that the malfunction would could influence the performance of the capsule cooling system and the temperature in its equipment section.
