“We have brought (Twitter’s) spending under control, so the company is no longer in immediate danger of bankruptcy,” he said, adding that “Twitter is not safe yet, there is still a lot of work to be done.”

On the same podcast he also pledged that there would be “fewer blunders in the future”, which he attributed to his initiatives. “If you look at the actual amount of improvement that’s happened at Twitter in terms of cost overall, it’s good,” he noted, adding that in the end he and his team will make it.
