Technology and apparel design and production meet in New York on April 20-21 at AI Fashion Week, which will showcase clothing collections and designs from the industry’s most innovative minds.

The two-day event will be held at New York’s Spring Studios by the creative studio Maison Meta and is centered on the competition, which involves approximately 350 candidates and consists of two stages: The first is an online vote, in which the general public can choose their favorite designer and then 10 finalists will be selected to move on to the second phase, presenting their creations to a jury.

Although Fashion Week is in its very early stages, top industry representatives are on the judging panel, including Adidas Three Stripes Studio Vice President Erike Wykes-Sneyd, Celine Head of Men’s Casting Natalie Hazzout, make up artist, Pat McGrath and Vogue Japan’s head of editorial content, Tiffany Godoy.

Winners will develop their own brands through the Los Angeles-based incubator Revolve and create their own AI-powered collections.

The aim of the organizers is to explore what is possible in the fashion industry by encouraging designers to experiment with new technologies and techniques.

It is a new kind of designersaid Revolve CEO and co-founder Michael Mende in an interview.

It is not that the computer designs and replaces tasks. It is a different kind of creator that uses different kinds of technologies to create different products that can be produced naturally. It’s a new perspective” write down.
