The problems in the functions of the Microsoft 365 program (formerly Office 365) that thousands of users around the world faced as of 14:46 Greek time have been fixed.

“We are investigating the issue where users may not be able to access Microsoft 365 services“, the Windows parent company said in an original post on X.

This was followed by a newer update from Microsoft which stated that a change in the management environment of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) caused the problem.

Microsoft’s latest post on X says that the problem has been fixed and Microsoft 365 is back up and running.

It is noted that Microsoft 365, formerly Office 365, includes subscription plans that allow the use of the Microsoft Office software suite during the subscription, as well as cloud-based software-as-a-service products for business environments, such as hosted Exchange Server, Skype for Business Server and SharePoint, among others.

The problems with Microsoft’s software come nearly two months after the “digital blackout” and “Blue Screen of Death” caused by a flawed software upgrade by CrowdStrike that affected about 8.5 million devices running Windows.
