The “two” belonged to the family of “Theizonosaurs” and is estimated to be medium -sized, with an estimated weight of about 260 kg
A rare new species of dinosaur with two nails was discovered by scientists in the Gobi desert, Mongolia.
The species, called Duonychus tsogtbaatari, is unique in the group of the Therizinosaurs herbivores, which stood on their hind legs and usually had three nails.
The “two -wheeled” is estimated to be medium -sized, with an estimated weight of about 260 kg.
Was about 3 meters in length and lived about 90 to 95 million years ago during the Cretaceous period
Researchers believe that his long, curved nails and his ability to bend them loudly would enable him to cut vegetation – like a “mower” with scythe.
