WhatsApp has announced a series of bonus upgrades that have recently been available and now reminds users the changes so that they do not lose them.

As whatsapp explained, ‘With new features and updates to be constantly added, you can easily lose useful and exciting ways in which you can use Whatsapp

This popular service is constantly optimized, so it is easy to lose something that has just been added.

So if you like to send messages, record vocal notes or make calls, here is everything you need to know about the changes.

  • Indicator ‘Online Indicator) in group talks: To help you know if there are people for conversation, you can now see how many people are “online” in real time, just below the team’s name.
  • Highlight notifications in groups: Do you need an easy way to prioritize the group chat alerts? Use the new “Notification” setting and select “Better” to limit notifications to @reports, answers and messages from stored contacts or “all” to receive all notifications
  • Incident updates: In addition to creating events in groups, you can now create an event in a 1: 1 conversation. Changes to calls

  • Add person to call from conversation: Add someone to a 1: 1 process call directly from a conversation thread by pressing the call icon to the top and selecting ‘Add to the Call’.
  • Enjoy smoother video calls: Whatsapp estimates that it has upgraded its technology to make your video calls more reliable and higher quality. Its optimized routing system finds the best connection route, reducing discontinued calls and video freezing. And improved bandwidth detection quickly upgrades your video to HD quality for a more enjoyable experience.

Other updates

  • Video notes for communication channels: Similar to the conversations, channel administrators can now record and share short videos (60 seconds or less) with the following.
  • Voice messages on communication channels: You can now receive a written summary of voice updates from channels when you are on the go and you can’t hear them.

  • QR codes: As a channel manager, you can now share a unique QR code that is directly connected to your channel, facilitating sharing with others and increasing their audience.
