For the first time in Greece, the 5th European Congress of Data Journalism & Computing Journalism will take place on September 8, 9 and 10, in cooperation with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA).

This year’s event has taken over the Workshop of the Department of Communication and Media in the EKPA. The conference is aimed at journalists, media professionals, researchers, academics and experts in data journalism.

Following its successful conduct in Ireland, Great Britain, Spain and Switzerland in previous years, Athens is hosting a top three -day event this year. The discussions will focus on future of information In the modern age of mass information, of algorithmic and her artificial intelligence.
