A new, strange theory of the origin of life on earth was presented by a British scientist, according to which the human species comes – or, better, was created – by the … aliens.
Robert Endres, a scientist from Imperial College London, argues that alien cultures have turned our planet into a habitable world billions of years ago.
According to Endres, the structural elements of life on Earth can be too complicated to have naturally formed, which means they would need something (or someone) to help start the process.
This idea, known as “directed pansy”, suggests that aliens may have sent germs or simple forms of life to Earth to promote evolution, forever changing humanity’s view of life.
The theory of “directed pansy”
The theory was first formulated by scientists Francis Crick and Lesli in the 1970s.
According to this, an advanced alien culture could have deliberately sent life to Earth, directing its formation according to its purposes. The idea is that these germs would land, survive and give life to life, which could then evolve into more complex forms, over time.
As the Daily Mail reports, Endres stated the theory that this would have happened about 4.2 billion years ago, shortly after the cooling of the Earth and the formation of water.
According to him, aliens may have used a spaceship or detectors to carry “start kits” to the then young planet.
The scientist added that the natural life formation without any help was unlikely, because the amount of chemical “order” needed to form the first simple cells would be too large to create in just 500 million years.
