Voucher 200 euros for computers, laptops: Private tutors will also receive it

More from 10,000 private tutors are also among the beneficiaries of the program “Digital Care II”, for its further promotion digital transformation of education through the utilization of funds from the Fund for Recovery and Sustainability of the European Union, following a proposal and specific documentation of the Minister of Education and Religions Niki Kerameos to the European Commission.

The “Digital Care” program invests over 140 million euros for the provision technological equipment from young men and women aged 4-24 years studying in educational structures – more than 500,000 students have already benefited, students and students – while now extending to a) teachers and members of Special Teaching Staff – Special Auxiliary Staffwithout social or other criteria, who are employed in public or private schoolsand b) families with dependent members, who attend educational structures of the country and were affected by the fires that broke out in areas of Greek territory from July 27, 2021 until August 13, 2021.

Beneficiaries will be able to receive check worth 200 euros for the supply of technological equipment, by submitting an application on a special electronic platform.

The special online application platform opens today from suppliers who manufacture, distribute and resell technological equipment. The short-term stage of controlling the equipment of the requesting suppliers will follow, in order to verify if the minimum specifications set out in the Joint Ministerial Decision are met.

Once the audit process is complete, will follow the opening of the platform for submitting applications by beneficiaries of the program. The eligibility checks of the beneficiaries are carried out mainly automatically, through the interoperability of systems of public bodies, without time-consuming and bureaucratic procedures of checking supporting documents. The implementation of the program “Digital Care II” will be carried out by the “Information Society M.A.E.” with the total new number of potential beneficiaries estimated at 170,000.

The “Digital Care” Program is implemented in collaboration with the Ministries of Finance, Development and Investment, Education and Religions, Labor and Social Affairs and Digital Governance and is one of the first projects to utilize the resources of the Recovery and Sustainability Fund. The aim of the program is to support the educational process with modern digital means, which can be used in conditions of technologically enriched educational life as well as in distance learning, to facilitate the access of teachers and students to digital educational material, as well as further enhancing the digital skills of members of the educational community.
