Kuleba: NATO does absolutely nothing about war – EU takes revolutionary decisions

by

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kouleba blamed NATO that it is doing “absolutely nothing” against the Russian invasion of its country, while welcoming the “revolutionary decisions” of the European Union.

“We see NATO as an alliance, as an institution set aside and who does absolutely nothing“, Said Kuleba at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

He stressed that at the beginning of the war, which began on February 24, NATO was considered by the Ukrainians as a “force” and the EU as an institution that “expressed only concerns”.

“But the war threw the masks“, he said.

“We saw revolutionary decisions taken by the European Union“which they themselves did not expect to receive,” he said.

Ukraine’s “Euro-Atlantic” ambitions are enshrined in the Constitution, but the authorities now make the country’s accession to the European Union a priority.

“We must recognize that Ukraine will not be able to join NATO,” he said. Volodymyr Zelensky on March 15th. “I am glad that our people are beginning to understand and rely only on their own strength.”
