NYT: The Texas butcher had contact with teenagers even from Greece

THE 18-year-old Texas butcherSalvador Ramos, who killed 19 children and two primary school teachers in the town of Uvalde, was communicating with young people around the world, even from Greece, according to the newspaper New York Times.

According to the New York Times, a 15-year-old girl from Germany, who asked to be named only by her nickname – Cece – said in an interview with the newspaper that she had met the perpetrator, about two weeks earlier in Yubo.

Among the teenagers who received friend requests or messages were children from Greece, according to the same publication.

Several guys who followed Ramos on Instagram and social media in general, said that they had met him for the first time on platforms such as Yubo, which allows people to stream live videos to each other and communicate.

A woman also said she had spoken to the Texas butcher on another site where people video chat with strangers. The woman said that she had once made a live broadcast, holding a gun, while blood was on the floor. Ramos claimed that he was bleeding from his nose.

As it has become known, the 18-year-old had online contact with a 15-year-old from Germany, whom he informed about the attack on his grandmother and about the massacre that would follow at school.

Cece even said that Ramos, in their previous conversations, had told her that he had a bad relationship with both his mother and his grandmother and that he had previously punched his older sister, kicked his grandmother and pushed a his ex-girlfriend.

“We are deeply saddened by the untold loss and are cooperating fully with the investigating authorities,” the Yubo platform said in a statement.

“At this stage of the investigation, we are legally committed not to disclose specific information about the identity of users other than to respond to specific requests from the authorities. However, we can confirm that a search is being carried out on behalf of our platform, which has since been deactivated. “
