Terror in Canada in the shadows of the Texas Massacre. Police in Toronto shot and wounded a man who was walking down a street holding a shotgun, in a neighborhood of the city, resulting in the closure of five nearby schools, for precautionary reasons.

According to the city police, there is no longer a danger to public safety. Ambulances have rushed to the spot. The suspect, whose condition has not been made known so far, is a man in his 20s.
The incident took place in Port Union, a neighborhood north of the city center. Four of the schools remain closed, while in another the school activities continue normally but the external gates are locked and no one can enter or leave, as announced by the School Committee of the Toronto District.
