Lewis and his family entered their destination zip code after a day of adventuring on the Isle of Wight, but were surprised that the guest house was 130 miles away.

“I’m completely pissed off,” said Louise.

“I called Booking.com and found out I made a mistake checking in to the wrong area of Newport, but they didn’t help me find a new location.

It was a day late and it was the middle of peak season so I was trying to stay somewhere.

“But we’re on a tight budget and Booking.com always said we’d refund, but we didn’t.

“We ended up borrowing money from my dad to save this scary hotel. He paid us 10001,000 for 6 nights.”

The hotel they met in was “disgustingly dirty”, he said, with rusty cutlery, coconut nets behind the sofa and a terrible smell.

The anxiety was due to a guest house in Newport, South Wales, listed in the Isle of Wight section of Booking.com.

The family now wants to be reimbursed for the amount of their stay that occurred last summer.

Lewis, who lives in Norfolk with her husband Jose and their two children, said the family was a “good party” but the extra 10,001,000 were a “big procession.”

The family spent a week in the cabin and planned to change the scene to the guest house the following week.

They monitored the change of residence throughout the day.

Louise only entered the zip code for the hotel at 4:00 pm and they noticed the error.

“This is money we don’t have and Booking.com will not reimburse us.

“They don’t even answer me right now. It is very unfair.
