70 UK companies will attend a four-day week starting today.
With more than 3,300 workers, this test is the largest test ever conducted in the world.
Pilots do not lose the wages of employees who work less than one day a week. Instead, you will be required to stay 100% productive 80% of the time.

The impact of the “big quit” shows that workers in different industries can work less, work smarter and get better results.
The trial will run for 6 months and will be conducted by 4 DayWeek Global in collaboration with researchers from Autonomy Thinktank, 4 Day Week UK Campaign, Cambridge University, Oxford University and Boston University.
The researchers work with organizations to monitor employee well-being and measure the impact on business productivity. They also see if the change is affecting the environment and gender equality.
Similar four-day exams will start later this year in Scotland and Spain.
Simon Ursell of Tyler Grange, a pilot for a landscape consulting firm, said: Like many people in the industry, including competitors and customers, we were pretty tired. The team’s conversation was about how busy we were, how much we needed, and indeed the lack of time in our lives.
“We know that mental health issues are very common in counseling. This is an industry that often suffers from increased demand, shorter deadlines and increased complexity.
“Mental and physical exhaustion is a real problem and can no longer be ignored. It’s time to make changes.
“The pilot program has revealed that it is time to act. We know the benefits for the well-being of our employees and we know that productivity can increase by up to 15%.
“For the last four years, we’ve been working hard to make that happen. So what are we waiting for?
However, Emma Parry, a professor at the Cranfield School of Business in Bedfordshire, warned that employers must work to make the four-day shift effective for both workers and companies.
“The concept of a four-day week challenges the current work model, and there is now some evidence of how it can have a positive impact on the workforce,” he said.
“In countries like Canada, Belgium and Iceland, research shows that reducing working hours can improve employee satisfaction, company loyalty and teamwork if done effectively.
But of course we should not assume that allowing people to reduce their working hours inevitably contributes to work-life balance, well-being or productivity.
“The danger here is that employers give people the right to save time and don’t take steps to develop management practices or organizational culture that allow this change to be implemented effectively. ..

“Employers should also know that it is the flexibility and control of when and where they work that often leads to employee satisfaction and engagement. Short workweeks without these factors. When introduced, they may not produce the desired effect”.
“It’s also important to help bridge the gap between remote and office workers. Employers are responsible for keeping people from feeling isolated and for all staff to respond to changes in work hours. It needs to be adjusted so that can be done.”
According to a recent survey, around 72% of British office workers prefer to work four days a week.
And some 130,000 people have signed a petition asking the government to work four days a week.

Juliet Shore, professor of sociology and senior pilot at Boston University, said:
Analyze how employees react to additional vacations with regard to stress and burnout, job and personal satisfaction, health, sleep, energy expenditure, travel, and many other aspects of life.
“A four-day week is generally considered a triple dividend policy and supports employees, businesses and the climate. Our research effort is to dig into all of this.
