Russia claims it destroyed tanks delivered by Ukraine’s allies during a “high-precision” missile attack on the outskirts of Kieu.
The military commander said that during a long-range attack, air-dropped weapons exploded on a T-72 and other armored vehicles shipped by an Eastern European neighbor stored at a car repair company in a rice field.
Ukraine denied this claim, claiming that the rocket collided with a tankless train repair shop.

He said no deaths were reported, but one was injured.
Police and soldiers blocked nearby roads as smoke billowed from the warehouse and a pungent smell filled the air.
Russian President Vladimirputin’s army also continued to operate in eastern Ukraine, launching rockets and airstrikes in the Luhansk region.
“Air strikes were carried out by Ka-52 helicopters in the Girske and Mirna Dolina areas and by Su-25 planes in Ustinivka,” Gov. Serhi Haidai said, and Lisichansky was hit by Tochka-U ballistic missiles.
Another airstrike took place in the eastern city of Kramatorsk. Mayor Alexander Goncharenko said no one was killed.
Ukrainian troops accused Russia of using phosphorus shells in Kharkiv and said Moscow continues to target civilian infrastructure.
The Russians are now said to control the eastern region of Severodonetsk, one of two major cities remaining in Lugansk.
Putin’s army is focusing on harassing Ukrainian troops to “block the main logistics routes”, the army has warned.
Meanwhile, a Russian agent associated with the murder of former spy Alexander Litvinenko in London has died in Covid.
Dmitry Kovtun, 57, was one of two British accusations of polonium poisoning in 2006 during an operation “probably approved” by Vladimir Putin.
