In a letter of indictment, the Commerce Department said Abramovich had named his children in February as beneficiaries of the “virtual entities” that owned the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Gulfstream G650 ER aircraft, but that he continued to control them.

The American authorities accused him today, Monday Russian businessman Roman Abramovich for the eexport of two US-made aircraft to Russia without a license due to US sanctions imposed on Moscow in response to its invasion of Ukraine.

In the letter of recitation of accusationsthe US Department of Commerce reported that Abramovich in February defined his children as the beneficiaries of the “virtual entities” that owned the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Gulfstream G650 ER aircraft, but that he continued to control them himself.

Manhattan Federal Attorneys Now Seize Seizure of Two Aircraft, as evidenced by the court documents. According to the Ministry of Justice, the planes have not yet been confiscated by the US.

The allegations come as US authorities try to pressure businessmen close to Russian President Vladimir Putin to persuade Moscow to end the war in Ukraine, which the Kremlin calls a special military operation. Abramovich has not been personally sanctioned by the United States.
